About Us

CynthiaCynthia Ivie is president and founder of White Space. She founded the company after 16 years in advertising and marketing – first in account management with two global advertising agencies, and second as a leading salesperson for three major publishers; Gannett, Diamandis and Newsweek.

As a fast-tracked advertising professional, Cynthia moved 20 times in 16 years, living in 9 different cities. Epitomizing the high-power, high-stress lifestyle many struggle to maintain, Cynthia decided to change her career in the mid-nineties. She left Newsweek to launch White Space.

In 1998 after test-marketing the idea of personal organization services among friends and associates in Dallas she moved the company to Chicago. Initially called “Loose Ends Life & Project Management,” White Space was instantly propelled onto the path of growth, and today boasts hundreds of clients and employs seven trained professional organizers.

The largest firm of its kind in the Midwest, White Space, re-branded in January 2005, continues to offer innovative, intelligent solutions that enable clients to experience balance, order, simplicity and control by freeing them from the overwhelming tasks of life.

Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Social Work from the University of Iowa. Recipient of the Make Mine a Million Dollar Business Award from OPEN from American Express, Count-Me-In and the Women’s Leadership Exchange, she is an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO,) the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago. In 1996 she was recognized as Child Advocate of the Year for the City of Dallas.
